Don't let lack of flood insurance put you in the dog house

Extreme weather is expected across the UK this week, with severe rainfall and snow melt leading to potential flooding. Flood warnings have been issued across the country.

If you live in the affected areas, you may wish call the Floodline (0345 988 1188), which provides useful information regarding the exact flood locations and  should help you get as prepared as possible with your flood plans.

Weather alerts are available from the Met Office, and you can sign up for flood warnings from:

Environment Agency – England
Scottish Environment Protection Agency (SEPA)
Natural Resources Wales

Ensure that you have the claim number for your insurer so if you are affected by the impending severe weather and need to make a claim, you can find it quickly and easily.
